It's Mpreg Monday 7-9-2018 AND we've got a PAAAARTY!
THANK YOU SO MUCH for making To Love and Protect His Omega such a smashing success! I'm so delighted with this book and how much folks are loving it!
I'm busily doing the background work for the next book, and I plan to have the first chapter of Book 2 up next week. It's a little slower than I planned, but life is life, and last week life included an exploded water mane and a bunch of other things that just took me away from the keyboard. But I'm back in business now!
In the meantime, here's another deleted scene from the killer's POV from the last book. My beta had me cut these for being off on tone, but I figured it might be fun to share so you can see what got cut from the book!
Interlude: Red Silk
I waited for you, but you never came back. Everywhere I went reminded me of you. I asked your friends where you had gone, and none knew. I asked your landlord. He told me you were heading west, so I went west.
I met David in San Diego. The omega looked up at me with such a warm smile as he handed me my bouquet. When he brushed his fingers over my hand and asked me if I was new to town, I was lost. Forgive me.
I took him to dinner, and he took me to his home. He smelled like cotton candy and peppermint sticks. He kissed me, sweet at first, if a little needy. Then he pressed his body against mine, and I began to hate him. He'd gone from a pure, beautiful man amongst the flowers to this animal, forcing himself on me, forcing my cock to want him. My hands went around his throat, and I squeezed.
I just wanted to feel something good.
He fought, but I held him tight.
I couldn't stop.
When he was still, I left him among the flowers. He'd worn red silk underwear. If I'd known, I wouldn't have gone home with him.
So what do you think? Is it as waaaay off in tone from the rest of the book as it seems? I have one more of these, so drop me a line if you want me to share it with the rest of the book online. Lmk if you want me to make a second “Cutting Room Floor” section.
I know that some of you are reading this book along on the website, and I wanted to make sure I had a new chapter up for you. So click here to enjoy chapter 14!
Chapter 14 is a whole lot of murder mystery and a small betrayal. Here's the first few paragraphs:
Friday brought another body. The omega had been found on a local construction site, eyes shut, hands clasped, and pants split. When they reached the scene, Dr. Garmin was already on the other side of the police tape, kneeling beside the body.
As they approached the tape, the uniformed police officer guarding the crime scene waved Gunnar and Juanita over. The officer was a slight, dark brown woman with her hair in tight twists framing a heart-shaped face. She had the scent of an omega, a mix of cinnamon and peppermint. Her voice was all cop as she said, “No positive ID on the victim. We have a couple of officers knocking on doors, but it's mostly warehouses and offices in this area. We think the body was left here sometime overnight, but the regular crew was on another site, so nobody discovered it until a civilian called it in.”
Gunnar looked around for the good samaritan.
“Caller didn't stay or give a name. The victim was found barefoot, and I'm giving it 50-50 that someone stole his shoes.” Probably the same anonymous tipster. Neither of them needed to say it.

When party boy Carlos left Columbia, he was determined to put his wild, promiscuous, free-wheeling days behind him and do the “smart” thing, starting with an education. But when he moves next door to hot, dangerous, and mysterious Damien, his willpower to stay on the straight and narrow starts going seriously sideways.
Damien left the military, left his friends–his entire life. Anything to avoid reminders of the one man he’d loved, and lost. He’s insulated himself in a wall of solitude and warns Carlos away, but Carlos has never been good at doing what he’s told, and Damien’s walls are crumbling.
As the two men begin to fall in love, Damien’s past rises up to haunt him, triggering dangerous flashbacks that put Carlos in danger–the very thing Damien wanted to avoid.
Carlos may have found the one man he can commit to for the rest of his life, but if Damien can’t come to terms with his past, can they find a future together?
Love After Loss features characters found in Soldier Went South, but both can absolutely be read as standalones. Beware, this story contains mpreg, PTSD, and adult situations (if you know what I mean… and you know what I mean).
One omega on the run.
One alpha resigned to a life alone.
Until the day their paths cross and their fates are sealed.
I thought I had an alpha who would love me forever. But I found out the hard way I was wrong. Broken and bleeding, I have no choice but to run, but I have nowhere to go. No one to turn to. Until I meet him — Jace. He promises me a home. Safety. Maybe even a second chance at love. I want to believe that's possible. But after all I've been through, how can I trust another sexy alpha?
I've always been looking for something I couldn't find — that one special omega who could become the center of my world. I've almost given up hope when Dai walks into my life. One look at him, and I know. So I give him a home. A job. My heart. I'll do whatever it takes to protect what we've built. The omega is mine. And I'm going to prove it to him.
Hillbilly Diner’s Omega is a steamy non-shifter mpreg 34,000-word novella set in an Omegaverse. This is a steamy younger man/older man mpreg story.
It started as a fleeting moment, but it turned into the summer of their lives.
In every alpha's life there is an omega he'll never forget, and a summer where it all started. For Riley, that began with a young man who was desperate for a change. As soon as Riley saw that omega’s royal blue eyes, pink lips, and smooth skin, he was head over heels.
Alpha Riley was starting over in the freshly built town of Belleview Bay. His criminal past was something he just wanted to leave behind completely. All he aspired to do was open his very own restaurant. To move on. Too bad he didn’t have a cent to his name.
Omega Holden never believed in love, but he sure did believe in fate. At his core, he was a dream chaser. His parents, however, owned a family business, and they weren’t so keen on letting him leave. Destined for something greater, he placed his things into a bag and left home for good. Within weeks, he was sh*t out of luck. With nowhere to turn, he was ready to give up. That is, until he saw Riley.
They both yearned for the unattainable. Alone, success felt impossible. But together, they could have had it all: Love, adoration, and a darling baby to complete their family.
Summer Love is a full-length gay second chance romance novel. It is 52,000 words. This book contains hot and sexy scenes, emotional moments full of desire, and a beautiful baby to fill your hearts with love. This mpreg book is meant for 18+ readers.
Mate or die.
Gabriel is out of time. As the last unmated omega wolf in his superstitious pack, he faces an ultimatum: mate with an alpha, or be banished to the vicious outside world. Gabriel knows he won’t survive out there, but he doesn’t have much of a choice. It’s stay and mate, or leave and die.
But Gabriel wants to make his own choice. Despite the dangers, he leaves the pack. When violent humans threaten him with death or worse, Gabriel accepts his fate – until a gorgeous alpha dragon appears and saves him from a certain demise.
Fight for love.
Dante hadn't intended to find a mate. As an alpha shifter with the hybrid powers of dragon and wolf, he’s gifted with immortality and power. He’d rather be at home with his books than escorting a scout over the lands and searching for new omegas to bring back to their tribe.
But when Dante sees an omega wolf fall into the hands of cruel raiders outside the pack's walls, he feels the spark. Gabriel is his fated mate. Dante refuses to find his mate and lose him in the same night. Dante will fight tooth and talon to protect Gabriel, and doesn't care what stands in his way.
The Hybrid Alpha’s Baby is a 50k novel with steamy scenes, a HEA, and no cliffhangers. It is the first book in the Dragons of Cinderhollow series.
